About Us

Welcome

Watertown-Mayer High School Main Entrance

Watertown-Mayer High School, home of the Royals, serves almost 500 students in grades 9-12. “Connections and Opportunities” is a major emphasis in our academic and extracurricular programs. WMHS offers courses in 13 department areas. There is an emphasis on providing opportunities for all students to take courses that match their interest and potential career interest. We offer over 50 College in the Schools credits along with providing many career and work-based experiences for students. We also offer extensive extracurricular opportunities throughout the year that encompass a wide array of student interests.

The WMHS profile of a graduate reflects our mission. We want all of our graduates to be creative and critical thinkers, skilled communicators, effective collaborators, engaged community members, self motivated learners, and healthy individuals. Our goal is to help them be prepared to take the next steps in their life after high school and be successful with whatever post-secondary path they choose.
